Style | Thursday Boots Review | Brandy Captains
Thursday Boots is by far the leading provider of quality Men’s shoes and boots for the discerning dapper gentleman. Once again I was introduced to TB through a fellow style influencer Chris Mehan after over a year of watching and yearning for a pair of their boots I settled on the Captains, their cap toe cut. The Brandy finish is by far the most versatile - a beautiful mix of of the rich dark color of brown and the bright punch of tan, this finish can be called upon in a number of looks in anyone’s wardrobe.
The color is magnificent. I was able to find a very close color match for a belt on Amazon and these boots are called upon weekly as I’m creating looks for work. The fit is superb. It took a me a wear or two to figure out the best way to lace up these boots - for me it was tying around the first set of speed hooks for optimal comfort during walking. The only knock I would have towards the boots is the wayward tongue that doesn’t sit center to my ankle throughout a day of walking. Maybe it’s the way I tie the boots or some other shortcoming on my part. At any rate it’s a minor thing that does not at all take away from the great pair of boots that they are.
